Just 2 short weeks ago, I signed the PAII contract to become your Executive Director. Who is Kris Ullmer, you ask? Briefly, I’m a former innkeeper (10 years), association volunteer (Standards, Membership) and am in my 20th year as Administrator for the Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association. (more on paii.org) I am delighted to be working with an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced Board of Directors here at PAII. We are all focused on positioning PAII to provide you with the information and services that you want to flourish in our ever-changing hospitality industry. You likely have questions about PAII, and quite frankly, so do we. We are reviewing the documents that we have regarding PAII’s history, and we will do our best to answer your questions. In fact, we have set up a dedicated email (questions@paii.org) so that your questions will receive immediate attention. As we assess PAII’s resources, it is clear that you – the innkeepers, aspiring innkeepers, industry partners, supporters, are at the very top of the list! Let’s get back to services. This week (March 23-27) your INNfo Newsletter. Timely snippets with links to articles will keep youin the hospitality business loop. Shortly thereafter, we’ll announce the Webinar schedule – another venue for you to get essential information without leaving your inn. And, speaking of announcements – in early April we’ll announce the location and dates of your 2016 PAII conference. I’m looking forward to getting to know you, and learning what you value from PAII. ~Kris Ullmer, PAII Executive Director
