The Hospitality Marketing Summit (HMS) brings to the Innkeeping Conference & Trade Show a well-deserved focus on marketing trends, strategy and technology. HMS partners Acorn Internet Services, Inc., and White Stone Marketing are perennial industry leaders, and we are excited that they are helping PAII to fulfill its goal of ever-improving education for Innkeepers.
The first HMS stand-alone conference was presented in Denver last fall, and by all accounts, it was a resounding success. Through our surveys and interaction with members, we know that marketing in the digital age is always at or near the top of their list of necessary continuing education. Our partnership with HMS to bring a complete marketing program to our conference is a natural next step for both entities.
It seems so appropriate that the HMS partner companies are anchored by two couples – not unlike many B&B and Inn businesses. Lisa and Mark Kolb, former Innkeepers themselves, founded Acorn Internet Services, Inc., 13 years ago and are dedicated to support Innkeepers in “succeeding in today’s online marketplace.”
Scott and Allison Crumpton are pioneers in our industry. They founded the first US internet marketing company to serve B&Bs in in the mid-90s – a time when most Americans were just discovering the internet. While their client base today is comprised of larger luxury Inns, they have much education to offer to all Innkeepers seeking higher and higher success.
